Design of radio receiver
Sikora, Halina ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is the analyse and design of radio receiver in accordance with technical, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The main point of radio design is the minimalist concept, simple forming, intuitive operating and not least certain timeless sophisticated look.
Design of digital alarm-clock with receiver
Pokorný, Martin ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The idea of this bachelor’s thesis is apply inventions and inspirations to create innovative design of radio alarm-clock with digital clock projection and show own creative activity, orientation on exist problems and independent activity on this submission.
Signal analyzer with FPGA
Kraus, Václav ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the possibilities of spectrum calculations, as well as data transfer via USB 3.0 and data saving to a DDR3 memory via FPGA. The focus is also on design and realization of a spectral analyzer with a record of samples to DDR memory expnaded by a narrowband converter using gate arrays. The work is divided into two sections, the first one dealing with the theoretical background. The second part denotes the realization of the design. The result of this work is a signal analyzer in a FPGA controlled from a computer application via the USB 3.0 interface.
TMC Displaying on WEB
Hora, Tomáš ; Kumpošt, Marek (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work describes concept and realization of system displaying traffic information transmitted over radio waves using RDS-TMC (Radio Data System - Traffic Message Channel) technology on web pages. It also deeply describes format of transmitted data and its representation as well as process of getting information about particular traffic events. Designed system is compared to similar already working system in the end of this thesis.
Present situation on civilian & military aeronautical use of the 108 - 137 MHz frequency band
Vidoň, Václav ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the summary and description of navigation and communication devices serving air navigation services in the frequency band 108 - 137 MHz. It also describes the technical specifications and the function of these individual devices, as well as the brief history and development that has been undergoing since they were put into operation.
Design of Jobsite Radio
Bartůněk, Jan ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the design of a battery-powered industrial radio. The main goal is to make an industrial radio designed for demanding conditions, such as construction sites and workshops and deal with ergonomic, functional and aesthetic requirements. The design is based on the current state of knowledge and emphasis is placed on the shortcomings of current products. The resulting product is designed for the target group of craftsmen and is enriched with new innovations.
Music Streaming Service
Škultéty, Erik ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis deals with music streaming subject and implementation of a model application for MeeGo based platforms. Application relies on services provided by RTP protocol. These services are supplied by GStreamer framework plugins. Cloud computing topic is also discussed later in this thesis, focussing mainly on the SaaS method. Finally, a server part which provides a list containing available radios, needed by the client part, as well as the possibility for users to add new radios into the database, is described.
Property record based on RFID technology
Černý, Jakub ; Dydowicz,, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor work focuses on the study of the modern technology of RFID tags and its application at Faculty of Business and Management in Brno. The main subject of this work is to use this technology as a replacement of barcode technology with the intention of raising processing speed, effectiveness and protection against stealing.
Microcontroller based system for voice transfer
Kapitančik, Maroš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis have to introduce us with digitalized transmission of speech with limited data flow and construct device witch can comunicate on this level. Theoretical part is describing base creation of sound human preception and issues with digitizing. Proposed device uses hardware codec VS1063a. Coding is applied with IMA ADPCM. Scale of incoming analog audio signal can be up to 4kHz. Inside system is controled by microcontroler, witch take care about others parts. For comunication with other moduls is used wireless transceivers module. Software part describes confuguration and selected options of every individual part. Next is explained principle of entire system. For comunication was implemented packet data structure. This implementation raised data flow but saved error state in transmit.
Design of Portable Radio
Tomčík, Dominik ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is design of portable radio in compliance of construction, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The aim is to adapt radio for travelling and achieve user‘s emotional reactions to the design.
